Our location in rural KwaZulu Natal midlands, away from the stresses of an urban environment, enables residents to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings whilst being able to fully focus on personal development and continue their recovery. Whilst the Centre is founded on Christian principles and values it has an all inclusive admission policy – therefore members of all religious groups are welcome.

  • Our Half Way House is intended for those battling drug and alcohol addictions - who have previously been admitted to a Treatment Centre (“rehab”) within the past 24 months, and now require a medium-to-long term facility to build on their recovery.
  • Patients must be 18 years or older
  • Our Half Way House is not a Detox Facility
  • Medical Aids do not cover Halfway House treatment

Frequently Asked Questions

What clothes must I bring?

Casual & comfortable clothes, and the same with shoes. Any items deemed inappropriate will be kept in safe keeping until your discharge, including those with inappropriate logos or prints.

Can I bring cash with me?

Yes - all cash and credit/debit cards must be handed to the admitting staff member. Your cash will be available for your use via a bookkeeping system.

What about visitations?

Visitations are allowed after 21 days of treatment. Those will be restricted to family members, and those approved by sponsors.

Can shopping be done?

There is a tuck shop available on the premises. Weekly shopping is done for the residents by staff members and or volunteer staff.

Can I bring my medication?

Yes - however All medication must be given to the resident nurse on admission.

Am I allowed to smoke cigarettes?

Yes - in designated smoking zones only. No smoking is allowed inside any building.

Are lectures and group session compulsory?

Yes - these are compulsory.

Does the program includes the Twelve Step Program?

Yes it does.

How many patients share a room?

No more then two patients in a room.

What about a special diet?

We will endeavour to provide personalized meals where possible.
